Susan Leary Eason, 70, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully on March 30th, surrounded by her closest loved ones. She was a faithful woman of God, loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Her whole life was built around God and building faith into her family. She loved her animals, caring for children, cooking and trying new recipes, which her husband greatly benefited! She also loved gardening and her roses. God needed one more fully bloomed rose in His garden of life. She was predeceased by her parents, Bessie Caudell and Herbert Leary. Also, her stepmother, Frances Leary. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Milton Lee Eason; son, Milton Lee Eason Jr. of the home; son, Joseph Eason (Lauren) of Burgaw, NC; daughter Melissa Massing (Shawn) of Burgaw, NC. Seven grandkids, Susan Ashley Eason Arnold (Phillip) of Burgaw, NC; Miranda Eason; Jaelyn Eason; Aidan Eason; Abigail Eason Massing; Asher Eason; and Shawn Massing Jr. Three great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Eason, Susanna Arnold and Josiah Eason.
